The 3 Ingredient Lip Scrub DIY

Are your lips ready to be kissed? Probably. But, you can never be too ready.

Pucker up with this lip scrub that only has THREE ingredients that you already have sitting in your kitchen. That’s not the best thing about this hella easy Lip Scrub DIY – it’s edible. Yep! It’s good enough to eat right off those luscious lips.

What you’ll need:

– 1 part Raw Sugar
– 1 part Honey
– 1 part Coconut Oil
– A small bowl
– A teaspoon for mixing
– A small container to put your goodness in

Depending on how much you want to make, put all 3 ingredients of even parts into your small bowl.

Mash and mix the concoction together with your teaspoon until it looks like a paste. I know, it’s not the most pretty thing you’ll ever make!

Transfer the mixture into your small container where you’ll store your lip scrub.

There you have it! Now rub the scrub onto clean lips in circular motions for 30 seconds. Wash off the excess or, you can lick it right off!

Things you shouldn’t do when they’re clearly not into you

Here at Gold Soul, we’re all about them golden and positive vibez.

Don’t hang on to negative people and their negative energy. You don’t need that shit and you deserve better! Love and relationships can always be a shitty thing, especially when the feelings aren’t mutual. But sometimes, you just gotta forget about people who don’t matter, leave them behind and keep being a bad bitch.

1. Avoid being a clingy texter

We never appreciate anyone over-texting us, so if you’re going to send “We should talk” or “Let’s hang out soon” messages every day, they’re probably not going to be interested. Don’t waste your time… or your money.

2. Don’t stalk them on Social Media

We’re all guilty of doing it sometime in our lives. But, if you’re in a situation where you keep running back to this same poisonous person, it’s probably best that you stay far away from their Facebook and especially far away from photos that they’ve been tagged. Yes, they’re smiling and laughing with what looks like a new love interest. You deserve that too…. just not with that person.

3. It’s not a good idea to get drunk and talk to them

If you’re prone to blurting out the truth when you’ve had one too many, you best put your smart cap on before you get your drink on. We all do dumb things when we’re drunk so try not to make a fool of yourself.

4. Don’t assume you’re the only person in their life

They have friends too, and for the most part they’ll be of both genders. Yep, your crush has friends who are male and female. Like any other person, they’ll hang out with their friends, so don’t assume they’ll always work around your schedule.

5. Don’t settle for a half-assed relationship

If this person is obviously not interested, then it’s best that you move on. Best case scenario: they go out with you a few times out of pity or to shut you up. It’s the sad truth. You don’t deserve that half-assed relationship with some dickhead who doesn’t care at all for you.

DIY Gold Dipped Dish

You can never have too much of a gold soul.

Glam up your whole life with all gold everything if you really want to. Here’s a way you can incorporate some gold into an everyday item. Use it to hold your favorite bling, light up a candle in it or give it to a friend. Share the gold love!

Using tape as a guideline, tape off the parts of the dish that you don’t want painted.Grab a paint pen or spray paint and paint the color onto where the dish is not covered. Leave the paint to dry for at least 10 minutes, then you can carefully take the tape off.All done! Now fill it up with your freshest candle, your freshest accessories or whatever you want!

FRESH AS: Green Tea Lime Cooler

It’s about to get ridiculously hot in here. Go ahead and get some fresh coolers into you and get ready for the Summertime, you babe!

We all know that Green Tea is amazing for you – it’s super healthy and has tons of benefits but who wants to drink a cup of hot tea in hot weather? Not you!

So here’s a way you can incorporate the same Green Tea health kick into a fresh as summer drink to share around with your friends and fam! Cool down and fresh up with a quick and easy Green Tea Lime Cooler.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

– Ice Cubes
– A sweetener of your choice (I’m using 1 tsp Honey)
– 1 Green Tea bag
– Juice of Half a Lime
– A few Mint Leaves

SERVES 1

Boil water and make a cup of Green Tea. Add your sweetener while it’s still hot, then leave to infuse for about 5 minutes.

Then, add the juice of 1 Lime and stir.

Transfer the Tea into a tall glass of ice and garnish with a few leaves of Mint.
