DIY PAPER BUNTING

Get some DIY into you!

This is the perfect DIY for beginners to start off with, or a fun little project for creatives to try out. You’ll end up with a cute paper bunting that you can decorate any space with. You can use any type of paper that you’d like, so you can make one for the holidays, for a birthday, or even just for every day!

What You’ll Need
– Small Square Paper
– String
– Hole Puncher
– Scissors

Cut as many triangle shapes out of your square paper as you want. Do this by cutting from the top corners down to the bottom middle.

Punch holes near each top corner.

Weave through your string, connecting the triangles. Make sure that you expose as little string as possible.

Last step is to hang your DIY wherever you like!

NAIL DETAIL: Wreath nail art

Time to ease into that good good festive spirit!

What better way to start feeling them Christmassy vibes than a festive mani? New nails give us life and we want you to feel the same way.

Here’s how to achieve festive and fashionable nails for the weeks of December.

What You’ll Need:
– Emerald Green Nail Varnish
– A light colored Nail Varnish (your choice)
– Small Nail Art brush
– Clear Top Coat

On fresh nails, apply 2 coats of your lighter Nail Varnish.

Choose a nail that you would like to draw the nail detail on and have some Emerald Green Nail color on your Nail Art Brush.

Using your Nail Art brush, paint on small dots in the outline of a circle.

On every dot, draw on small diagonal flicks. Then keep building up on flicks and stop whenever you’re happy with how it looks.

Paint on your top coat and ta-da! Done!

CLAWS OUT: DIY Black, White and Gold Marble Nails

Get those claws out – it’s time for a fresh, new mani!

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

– Black and White nail varnish
– Gold nail varnish
– Clear top coat
– 2 shallow cups of water
– Toothpicks
– Nail varnish remover & cotton wipes

Start off with clean nails, then the first thing you’ll want to do is give yourself some black and white marble nails.

Not going to lie, this will take you about an hour, plus drying time. For that nail art DIY brought to you by yours truly, follow this tutorial!

Wait for about half an hour for your nails to dry and now we can move on to the gold!

Grab your second cup of water and pour some Gold nail varnish into it. Gently swirl it around with a toothpick.

Dip your fingernails in one-by-one. Allow a bit of gold to be applied over the top of your marble nails.

Once all your nails have been dipped in gold, let them dry for another half an hour to an hour. Then grab your nail varnish remover and cotton wipes and clean up the nail varnish you got on your hands!

Then after a few hours, apply your Clear Top Coat.

The final step is to accessorize like a BOSS with some gold Gold Soul jewelery and you’re ready to show off your new nails.

THE cutest Tassel Garland DIY

Channel your inner interior decorator and get your tassel on. Wow your friends and fam with a simple and easy tassel garland made with a few simple things from the dollar store and your hot little hands. Yep – you’re about to do the cutest DIY that you’ll ever do. Ever. So put your artsy cap on and get tassel…ling? Tasselified?

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

– 2 or 3 colors of tissue paper (your choice)
– Scissors
– Some string

 

Take a sheet of your tissue paper and fold it in half, then cut that in half.

You should have 2 sheets of folded paper. Lay it down on a flat surface and begin to cut thin strips using your scissors, not cutting all the way up – leave about an inch.

Unfold the tissue paper and you should have a fringe detail on either side and an un-cut middle.

Roll the un-cut section of the tissue paper as shown in the photo below.

Then, twist that into a little loop. Make as many tassels as you’d like!

String it up! Feed the string into the loop of every tassel.

Style however you like!
